We have experienced one of the fastest global economic contractions in history. Credit spreads widened to extreme levels at the fastest rate and then narrowed quite significantly, as central banks stepped in, and as governments provided fiscal support. So where to from here for fixed income? And what of ESG factors - will we see an acceleration of ESG trends, or might this be lost in the fight for survival?
The title sponsors of next week’s Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open announced today that they will be offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions from travel to the event by all players and caddies. The prestigious co-sanctioned event is being played behind closed doors from the 13 – 16 August at The Renaissance Golf Club, North Berwick.
Working together with ClimateCare, the expert at financing, managing and developing climate projects, Aberdeen Standard Investments is offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions by supporting the accredited Gola Rainforest protection project in Sierra Leone. This will include all the 144 players’ and their caddies’ travel into and out of Scotland.
