The mission of The Conferences for Women is to promote, communicate and amplify the influence of women in the workplace and beyond. At our annual nonpartisan, nonprofit conferences, we bring together thousands of active professionals to connect, renew, and find inspiration in community.
We are committed to helping close the pay gap, eliminate gender discrimination and achieve parity in company leadership and on corporate boards. We inspire the next generation through our Young Women’s program and we support local nonprofit organizations.
The Conferences for Women harness the collective wisdom, experience and energy of inspirational women and men of all ages and backgrounds in service of our values: supporting and giving back to our growing nationwide community.

The greenback initially moved higher after the statement but quickly reversed course to trade just below the unchanged mark on the session.

US financial services group State Street is to establish a new global cybersecurity and technology unit in Kilkenny, which will see the creation of 400 new jobs.
The fund manager, which already employs 2,000 staff in Dublin, Drogheda, Naas and Kilkenny, said Ireland was chosen as the location for the new unit “due to the availability of relevant and skilled technology talent - existing and emerging - from universities and third level institutions, as well as the need to have a location outside the US for time zone support purposes.”
It will be located at IDA Business and Technology Park in Kilkenny where State Street already employs about 600 staff and where the firm is in the process of developing a new office.
“Reflective of new ways of working post Covid and of staff preferences for flexibility and remote working, the new office will accommodate above average occupancy levels enabling it to draw on a broad staff pool along the east coast and...

“Data is key for investment managers,” said Marion...

The ETF landscape continues to grow rapidly, with global inflows of $661 billion through the second quarter of 2021 – nearly 87% of 2020’s record inflows.[1] Innovation continues to abound with the introduction of dual-registry ETFs in Australia, cryptocurrency products in Canada and Europe, and semitransparent active ETFs in the United States.
One area of the ETF landscape that remains relatively untapped is actively managed fixed income. Although fixed income makes up 52% of the $400 billion[2] in active ETF assets, some of the best investment strategies are absent due to daily transparency requirements in most jurisdictions. But that has begun to change as US regulators loosen regulatory roadblocks for active equity managers. Beginning in April 2020, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved several models enabling active equity managers to launch domestic equity ETFs without disclosing daily holdings. To date, eleven issuers have...
